VERSUS. Man or machine?

Protocube Reply is glad to share its 3D Experience in the first edition of Versus, an event focused on artificial intelligence and the human-machine relationship.

The event, scheduled for the evening of Friday 6 March 2020, is organised by Different, a platform dedicated to the dissemination of culture. For the Turinese public, this is a moment of reflection on the impact of technology in daily life and the business world. To offer a tangible experience, Versus set up two projects, consisting of a sequence of thematic speeches and a demo area where everyone can try applications developed with technologies such as robotics, virtual reality, augmented reality and artificial intelligence.

Both experiences will be presented directly by the content partners Protocube Reply and Comau. The two companies are striving for fair dissemination of new technologies, highlighting both the advantages and disadvantages that they bring about, for a conscious use. Versus is an opportunity for sharing, in which the participants can interact with the speakers, ask them questions and provide feedback on the technologies on display.

A buffet-aperitif will follow, accompanied by a DJ set.

Place and date of the event

The event will take place on Friday 6 March 2020 at the head office of the Association “Impresa e Territorio” located in via Andrea Cesalpino, 11/A, Turin.
The location of the event is the former site of the Spina Reale, the historical route that connected Turin to the Royal Palace of Venaria.

At the end of the speech, the public will be able to interact with the projects created by Protocube Reply and Comau:

• e.Do Robot by Comau: live experience with the 6-axis robot programmed with 100% open-source software
• VR training by Protocube Reply: training on an electric motor or on dismantling the actuator of a system;
• AR try-on by Protocube Reply: Try virtual glasses or view products such as shoes and handbags without going to the shop;
• ARIA by Protocube Reply: chat with AI
