Folding@Home is a distributed computing project to simulate and study chemical phenomena such as protein folding, drugs engineering and other types of molecular dynamics. It is a highly valuable resource for research centres studying neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. Folding@Home has multiple programmes running, including one on COVID-19, which everyone can join by downloading a desktop application that works in the background using the idle time of your CPUs and GPUs for distributed calculations.
We invite everyone to participate in the Folding@Home project, as even a small contribution can make a difference in the COVID-19 research, speeding up the process of finding effective therapies and vaccines for this global pandemic.
For more information on the project, check out the official webpage Folding@Home against COVID-19.

With twenty years of experience, the Folding@Home application works in the background, using the idle computational power of the CPUs and GPUs of your computer, without affecting your system performances. To help in the Folding@Home projects, you can even register as a team and access all the statistics of the contribution given over the years thanks to all the hardware resources shared by users.
